3 DAYS SSESE ISLAND TOUR
The Ssese Islands are an archipelago of eighty-four Islands in the north-western part of Lake Victoria in Uganda. The Islands are coterminous with the Kalangala District in southern Central Uganda, which does not have any territory on mainland Uganda. The Islands occupy the north-western corner of Lake Victoria, the second-largest freshwater lake in the world. The largest Island in the archipelago is called Bugala Island and its largest town, called Kalangala.

Day 1: Transfer to Ssese Island
You will be picked by a guide from your hotel in Kampala at 11:00am then you will head to Entebbe road from where you will proceed to Nakiwogo landing site. You will have your lunch in Nakiwogo at 4 points bar & Restaurant Ltd/Seasons restaurant/The Rolex Guy restaurant.
At 2:00pm you will board the ferry and sail on Lake Victoria for 3 hours to get to Lutoboka landing site. From here you will either walk or board a vehicle to the lodge. You will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay Brovad Sands Lodge/Ssese Habitat Resort/Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.
Day 2: Nature walk and Bicycle ride
Wake up to the splendid views of the sun rising over the water and the beautiful sandy beaches. Take your morning breakfast at 8:00am.
You will have a nature walk in Lutoboka Central Forest Reserve. This is truly a birders’ paradise with over 300 bird species. The forest is home to several primates like monkeys and other wild animals like Sitatunga, antelops. You will have lunch at your lodge.
After lunch, you will then have a bicycle ride as you see the large palm oil plantations on this island. In the evening you will get back to the lodge and relax on the beach as you see the beautiful sun set. Later on you will enjoy the beach camp fire. Dinner and overnight stay Brovad Sands Lodge/Ssese Habitat Resort/Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.
Day 3: Boat cruise and Departure
Arise to the beautiful sight of the sun rising over the magnificent lake and beach covered in sand. Take your morning breakfast. Have a morning cruise on the lake in the motor boat. You can also do some fishing of Nile perch and tilapia common in this lake. Check out from the lodge.
Proceed to Lutoboka landing site and get aboard the ferry for the 3 hour journey back to Nakiwogo landing site. You will have lunch in Nakiwogo at 4 points bar & Restaurant Ltd/Seasons restaurant/The Rolex Guy restaurant. From here you will be driven back to Kampala or the Airport to catch up with your flight.
