3 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK SAFARI
Murchison Falls National Park sits on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. Park wildlife includes elephants and hippos, and there are chimpanzees in the Kaniyo Pabidi mahogany forest. The Lake Albert Delta is home to rare shoebill storks. There are game fish in the cascades of Karuma Falls.

Day 1: Drive to Murchison falls
After an early breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and start the 6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National park. You will pass via Luwero and a stopover in Masindi town for lunch at Traveller’s Conner restaurant/Jazz restaurant/Kabalega restaurant. Proceed to the park, towards the top of the falls, here along the way you will see various animals such as warthogs, baboons among others. You will watch the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in a 7m gorge. Take as many photos as you can. Later drive to the lodge, relax the whole evening. Dinner and an overnight stay Paraa Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison lodge/Murchison safari lodge.
Day 2: Sport fishing and Game drive
After your early morning breakfast, go for Sport fishing in the park which is quite rewarding for the avid angler. There are great opportunities to land a large Nile Perch “mputa” or Cat-fish “semutundu”. Other fish include Tiger fish, Electric cat-fish, Tilapia, “Ngara”. The record largest Nile Perch was 113 Kgs landed at at the water gauge opposite the crocodile pool, and the largest cat-fish was 45 Kgs landed near the Nyamusika Cliffs.
After the sport fishing, your driver and the ranger guide will lead you for a Game drive at 10:00 am. During the drive you will be in position to see very many animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, water bucks and birds among others. Drive drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up and have lunch as you prepare for an early evening cultural encounters.
During the cultural encounters, energetic dancers from Mubako perform around lodge campfires, making for a magical African experience at dusk. Boomu Women’s Group offers accommodation, a craft shop and village tours, revealing the realities of life in this rural community. Day 3: Boat cruise and Departure
After your breakfast, proceed for a morning boat cruise. On the boat you will be able to see various Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different beautiful birds some singing in the trees such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers, the shoe billed stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls, you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls. Return to the lodge and check out.
Embark on the journey back to Kampala with a lunch stopover en-route, you will be dropped at the location of your choice or Entebbe Airport for your flight.
